IN THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST

By Pastor Simpson | Text: Ephesians 4:11-13

To exhibit the fullness of Christ means that Christ has matured in you. This implies in your life the maturity of knowledge, maturity of love, maturity of wisdom, maturity of service and the maturity of holy giving.

John 14:23 says that if you love God and keep His commandments, God will dwell in you. He will make His home with those who love him. This means that you cannot say you dwell in the fulness of Christ when you do not love Him. Ofcourse, when you love someone you will do anything for that person, so you cannot really claim to dwell in His fullness when you find it hard to obey Him.

If you allow the fullness of Christ to dwell in you, you will not lack as God will provide all your needs.Again, if you dwell in the fullness of Christ you will receive grace. You will grow from grace to grace.Doors of favour will just keep opening unto you.

You cannot dwell in the fullness of Christ if you lack faith. Faith simply means belief. As human beings we are the flesh is always warring with the spirit. It takes faith to stand strong.

The fullness of Christ must dwell in us else our presence and exercise here on earth will all be in vain. We'll just be passersby and nothing to show forth in the end. That will not be your portion in Jesus name. Amen.

From our text, until we hold the same truth and confidence, in the word of God, we cannot really achieve anything.. We are suffering as a nation because the fullness of Christ is not in us. To be in the fullness of Christ, we must have the knowledge of the son of God.

To conclude, one who dwells in the fullness of Christ can be regarded as the perfect and complete man. The perfect man loves God. He loves and does the things of God which are all contained in the word of God.You cannot receive the eternal reward if you are not dwelling in the fullness of Christ. And you can only receive the fullness of Christ through the spirit, and by asking. Ask Him now
